10:21a - Why am I here?
I came into work for this?

There are no managers... there are no other office staff... the lights in my section aren't even turned on, which, in truth, is preferable. The coffee machine is spitting out weak, brown water. I have absolutely no work to do. The air conditioner is turned on full blast; I've got goosebumps all over! I have to step outside every half-hour just to warm up...

Last night was just another one in a series... unable to sleep until 2 - 3am cuz it was just too damned hot! Even with the fan blowing air in from the balcony. This is not working well with my complete boredom at work; the desk is looking more comfy all the time...

Solution: convince them to let me sleep at the office at night, and work from home during the day.

11:09a - Whut th'...!
Dammit! Someone just turned on the lights, even after looking me in the eye and asking if I wanted them on... "No, thanks, it's nice the way it is." Click. "Aaaiiii....." He's in sales. Go figger. I touch type, and don't need to see the keyboard; good thing, cuz it's all just a big, gray, headache blur at the moment.

current mood: aggravated

1:44p - Yo quiero Taco Bell!
Oh, Wacky Wednesdays, how I count on you to line my arteries...

Lunch discussion today included someone "getting a whole whack" o' stuff. Exactly how much is a whole whack? Can you get fractions of this? Half a whack? Multiples, perhaps? "Yeah, I picked up four whole whacks of cards today..."

Oh, I have GOT to find something to do! Say... that's a nice bandwagon you've got there. Would you mind...? Great, thanks.
