Looks like I got overlooked for more training today. Nice. I hope our clients don't mind when I don't immediately know the answers.

[condensed version]
C: "I got the e-mail indicating that some software may need to be reinstalled. I followed the instructions and have a list of programs here, but I'm not sure what needs to be reinstalled."
Me: "Basically, you'll need to reinstall any software that you use that isn't working properly anymore. What programs do you use normally?"
C: "Well, I'm not sure what to reinstall. I have AutoView listed here, should I reinstall it?"
Me: "I don't know - do you normally use AutoView?"
C: "No."
Me: "Well, then there's little point to installing it if you won't be using it."
